Seen as one of the newest and most innovative natural horsemanship trainers, Clinton Anderson has been seizing the attention of crowds since he moved permanently to the United States in 1997. After training, touring and conducting clinics, Anderson didn’t wait long before he made his mark and became the first horse trainer to launch a “made-for-TV” weekly training program broadcasted on satellite television. The program became the most popular equine program featuring a variety of topics covering common problems faced by horse owners. In 2003 and 2005 Anderson met head to head with the country’s best horse trainers and clinicians in the Road to the Horse Colt Starting Competition. Both years he returned home as a champion making him the only person ever to win the event twice.

An early love and natural ability with horses led Australian born and raised Anderson to his first horse by age nine. By age 12 he attended horsemanship clinics, and by age 15 he began his apprenticeships with nationally acclaimed clinicians and horse trainers. When Anderson was 17, he took his gained knowledge and expertise and began a training facility of his own. Anderson now resides in his Downunder Horsemanship training facility in Belle Center, Ohio. There he educates horse owners with his humane training methods on how to be safe and effective while riding horses. In his free minutes, Anderson enjoys breeding reining horses and watching movies. Watch and learn as this Cinch trainer shows you how to get the results wanted from your horse.
