“Hot Sauce” DeMoss is this man’s nickname and rightfully so as the Louisiana native is on fire. A four-time NFR qualifier, the only thing that eludes Cody is the coveted saddle bronc riding world title. In 2004, Cody finished the year as the reserve saddle bronc riding world champion which only added fuel to his fire. In 2006, he finished the year as the regular season leader with $145,544 heading into the National Finals Rodeo, where he won the seventh round and later injured himself in round eight. This not only prevented him from competing in the final two rounds, but also unfortunately removed him from world title contention. You can bet that he will be back in 2008, with a burning desire to take home his first world championship.

DeMoss spends his days with wife, Margie and a daughter, Darbi. When he’s not on the rodeo trail he enjoys hunting, fishing and team roping. Cody is an accomplished heeler and aspires to add an all-around title to his list of accomplishments. Look out for “Hot Sauce” DeMoss as he spurs his way towards the 2008 National Finals Rodeo.
